Several musicians graced the stage at the Oscar Awards on Sunday 27 March at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Grammy award-winning singer Beyoncé performed her original song, Be Alive from King Richard starring Will Smith. Take a look at all the performances from the Oscar Awards.

BEYONCÉ PERFORMS ‘BE ALIVE’

After watching the inspiring story of tennis giants Venus and Serena Williams in King Richard, Beyoncé was inspired to write an original song for the film. The 40-year-old singer opened the Oscars with a stunning performance of the single. 

The performance was pre-recorded on the same tennis court the Williams sisters practice on. Beyoncé’s oldest daughter, Blue Ivy also appeared in the performance.

WE DON’T TALK ABOUT BRUNO’

Encanto’s We Don’t Talk About Bruno topped the Billboard 100 charts earlier this year. This was the second Disney single to achieve a Billboard 100 number one.

Singer and percussionist Sheila E, Luis Fonsi, Becky G and Encanto cast members Adassa, Stephanie Beatriz, Mauro Castillo, Carolina Gaitan and Diane Guerrero all performed We Don’t Talk About Bruno at the Oscars. 

Hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion joined them on stage for a special rap remix of the sing.

BILLIE EILISH STEALS THE SHOW WITH ‘NO TIME TO DIE’

Billie Eilish made history at the 94th annual Oscars with her Best Original Song win for No Time to Die. According to E! News, Eilish is the youngest artist to win a Grammy, Golden Globe and an Oscar for the same song. Eilish won the award with her brother Finneas O’Connell. 

After dreaming of writing songs for a Bond film, the two musicians took the stage to perform their original song.
