Bafana Bafana and Royal AM star striker Victor Letsoalo had been linked with a sensational move to Kaizer Chiefs during the previous transfer window, and those rumours have resurfaced at various times this year. However, the player has also drawn interest from Pirates recently.
Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi previously insisted that Letsoalo ‘is a Rolls-Royce’ and Chiefs should not table an offer for a ‘Mazda 323’, and it increasingly appears that Chiefs will have no hope of successfully securing the services of highly-regarded playmaker.

According to a report on SABCSport, the ‘price tag’ for Letsoalo may well have escalated from R4-million before the beginning of this season to R20-million now.
Dramatically, in the latest report on Goal.com, it’s stated that Pirates could be leading the way to make Letsoalo their seventh recent signing, with the Buccaneers said to be confident of securing the deal.
However, key parties didn’t reveal much.
“I cannot talk about that at the moment,” Letsoalo’s agent Jazzman Mahlakgane said when approached by GOAL, while Royal AM CEO Sinky Mnisi simply said “no comment”.
This comes after yet another standout season for the striker, who scored 17 goals across all competitions in 2021-22.
