South African singer-songwriter Jeremy Loops released his new single Better Together on 22 April. The singer co-wrote the track with award-winning British singer Ed Sheeran. The two musicians first met in 2019 at an afterparty during Ed Sheeran’s South African leg of his Divide tour.

JEREMY LOOPS’ ‘BETTER TOGETHER’
According to U Discover Music, when Jeremy Loops first met Ed Sheeran nearly three years ago, the British singer suggested they write together.
“He said I was a better loop artist than he is. Very kind, but not true! But we are very similar artists, in many aspects of our jobs,” said the Kommetjie-born singer.
Taking to Instagram on 27 April, Loops wrote: “You know I believe in community more than anything we need each other now more than ever.”

‘HEARD YOU GOT LOVE’
Jeremy Loops’ new album Heard You Got Love is set to be released on 8 July. The talented musician collaborated with several songwriters including Ed Holloway, Eg White and Cam Blackwood, who was written alongside Florence + The Machine.
“This is the album I’ve always wanted to make and my hope is that some of the things I’ve written about will mean as much to others as they do to me,” said Loops as per U Discover Music.
“Every song speaks to something I care deeply about.”
JEREMY LOOPS SOUTH AFRICA TOUR
The star singer is set to travel across South Africa on an exciting tour which kicks off on 4 June in Benoni, Gauteng. Loops will end off his tour on 18 June in Durban at Music at the Lake.
Following his South African tour, Loops will perform in Europe throughout September. His European tour will kick off on 2 September in Glasgow, Scotland.
