Jillz released his first serving of the year as he returned with his new body of work, ‘Mud To Water’. The platinum-selling producer and artist took to socials to share the inspiration behind the project by explaining how he transitioned from being through the mud, to finally “finding himself in the island music through the water.”
He also expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the project.
The 8-song offering includes artist contributions from the likes of Sizwe Alakine, J Molley, Le Broda, Gemini Major, VegasxCesar and Manu Worldstar. ‘Pressure’ featuring Le Broda is the lead single which dropped last year, ahead of the project.
A different side and build-up from his last collaborative project, ‘Waterbreak 2’ with Benny Chill, ‘Mud To Water’ brings insight into the artist’s ever-growing music career and experimentation of different sounds.
