Mbule who was at the center of attention during the January transfer window has been missing in action during recent weeks for his club SuperSport United.

Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns transfer target’s absence explained

“He has not been at the right fitness levels, but he has been working really hard.” Stan Matthews told SoccerLaduma.

Despite a failed move to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns in January, Matthews confirmed Mbule is set to return to the team this weekend.

“I think he is in the matchday squad against AmaZulu for Saturday, so we are hoping to see him back. He will (bring) a big difference. He is a great player.

“If you have Mbule in there instead of Rasebotja, suddenly your midfield looks a lot different. If we have Ngoma upfront instead of one of the other youngsters or to put pressure on Iqraam Rayners a little.

“Then suddenly (Thamsanqa) Gabuza is back. We will look a little bit better. I think we were unlucky against Royal AM, but that experience is very important. Hopefully they make a difference.”

Mbule working hard for next move – Agent

“He wants a move but he’s prepared to role his sleeves up and work his socks off for the next part of the season.” his agent Mike Makaab told Gagasi FM amidst links to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

“I’m absolutely confident that we’re going to see a Sipho Mbule in the next three to four months that is going to set this league alight and it wouldn’t surprise me if we wouldn’t open the doors in Europe for him.”
