Kaizer Chiefs aren’t done recruiting and more PSL transfer rumours

The transfer rumour mill has gone into a mini-lull as clubs announce players and others shift targets but Kaizer Chiefs are still generating buzz.

However, we continue to scour around for the latest PSL transfer rumours.

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Lazarous Kambole has bounced back from being released from Naturena.

As The South African website previously reported, Kambole and Youn Africans of Tanzania have struck a deal.

Mamelodi Sundowns chairman Tlhopie Motsepe wouldn’t give a firm answer in whether or not the club were chasing Bongani Zungu.

The chairman was non-commital and Sundowns appear well-staffed in midifield having just signed Sipho Mbule.

Masandawana chairperson Motsepe told the media when quizzed about Zungu: “At the moment, we obviously cannot talk about any players who are not at the football club and are not part of our organisation.

“But we will be looking to bring in a few players as the transfer window progresses.

“But right now we would be disrespectful to speak about players that are not at our football club,” Motsepe said.

Kaizer Chiefs could raid Swallows nest again

It’s clear that Chiefs are looking to rebuild their squad to be more competitive next year, and after signing Siyethemba Sithebe from AmaZulu on a pre-contract, reports also suggest Amakhosi bosses have made a breakthrough in signing Yusuf Maart.

Now they look set to after another Swallows star.

The five men who could be the next Orlando Pirates coach

As things stand, Mandla Ncikazi is the current head coach of Pirates but that looks likely to change.

There are some nig names available to come in and take charge at Mayfair.

A source close to former Orlando Pirates defender Thulani Hlatshwayo has revealed his thinking on a possible next move.

Hlathswayo might be open to staying in Soweto and moving to Kaizer Chiefs.

“I know a lot of people will be surprised, but he would really go to Chiefs if they offer him a contract. You know sometimes, we just have conversations and this thing of Chiefs came up. So, that’s when I realised that he won’t think twice about joining them if they really want him,” the source told the Citizen.

“Football is business and a short career, so, for him will all be about making sure that he revives his career and people see the old him. He didn’t have a good time at Pirates and we all saw that. But, such things happen and what I know for sure is that he won’t stay long without a team because people still believe in him.”
