According to SoccerLaduma, Castro’s current contract ends on 30 June.
He has failed to reach an agreement with Amakhosi’s management with time fast running out for the Columbian midfielder. As it stands, he will no longer be a Chiefs player come the end of June.

Meaning, he is left with just 3 months of his current contract.
Castro famously formed part of CBD during his days with Pitso Mosimane at Mamelodi Sundowns. However, he has failed to reach those same heights with Amakhosi despite Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly being in fine form.
If Castro leaves, he will join several players on their way out of Naturena this June.
Kaizer Chiefs seem to be undergoing a club revamp with several top players being targeted as well as a potential brand new coach in Benni McCarthy.
