CLIVE BARKER NOT CONVINCED BY HUGO BROOS’ SIDE
According to the man who inspired Bafana Bafana’s first and only AFCON title in 1996, Clive Barker, the national side delivered a performance to forget.
“Shocking hey, the performance was shocking,” Barker said via KickOff.
“They were”I thought he made a few really good saves. He kept us in the game but, unfortunately, it was not good enough.
“Generally, the whole team was not good enough.” not good, not good at all. But I thought our goalkeeper Ronwen Williams played well,” the former coach concluded.
Meanwhile, coach Broos believes the result and performance were not entirely key, what mattered was the experience his players earned ahead of the AFCON qualifiers in June.
