MAKHADZI RECEIVES A WARM WELCOME FROM BOTSWANA
Makhadzi was welcomed to Botswana by the Botswana government and royals of the Batlokwa tribe on Wednesday 23 March. The Ghanama hitmaker was dressed in a traditional Setswana outfit as she received a few gifts.
“I express my gratitude to the leaders of this country for allowing me to have my show here, Botswana is the only country that has shown me so much love even more than my own country. I want to reach out to the younger ones,” said the star singer in a press statement.

Makhadzi blew Botswana away with her electric performance. The crowd roared as Makhadzi made her way to the stage for her performance. Her security had to make way for her to walk through the crowd.
Taking to Facebook on Sunday 27 March, the star singer thanked her fans in Botswana for supporting her during the concert.
“I prayed about this to happen in my career from the day I started to have more followers in my province.”
“I always tell myself that God didn’t [make] a mistake by bringing me [onto] this earth and let me face happy moments and also huge challenges,” she said.

Makhadzi hinted on Instagram on Monday 28 March that South Africa and Namibia could also be getting one-woman shows soon.
