Kaizer Chiefs fans who adore Samir Nurkovic can breathe a sigh of relief. The Serbian’s agent Dajan Simac has dismissed the reports claiming Nurkovic has signed for Royal AM.
NURKOVIC NOT LEAVING KAIZER CHIEFS FOR ROYAL AM
Following Thursday’s viral news, the report said Nurkovic sensationally put pen to paper on a pre-contract to play his football at Mam’Khize’s Royal AM next season.
“KickOff can now confirm that the Serbian has signed with ambitious club Royal AM. The lucrative transfer will be a two-year deal with a further option of an additional year,” the outlet reported.
But the player’s agent says there is no such thing.
“This is not true,” Simac told SABC Sport.
Simac added to confirm that the 29-year-old player indeed has a one-year contract extension option on his Kaizer Chiefs deal, and has begun dialogue with Amakhosi to discuss Nurkovic’s future.

“Of course, there has been a lot of interest in Samir, but he is still a Chiefs player and we are talking to the club about the future. I don’t know anything about the rumours that he will be joining Royal AM,” Simac added.
