Kaizer Chiefs fans are powerful. It is no exaggeration to say Stuart Baxter’s future is uncertain. Meanwhile, an Orlando Pirates former player has shared advice.

IF STUART BAXTER DOESN’T LEAVE KAIZER CHIEFS

With the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup titles lost, and the 2021/2022 DStv Premiership title seemingly out of reach, Joseph Makhanya says second place is the last goal.

“Obviously they are still playing to secure CAF Champions League football,” Makhanya said via KickOff.

“Maybe Chiefs will also start to introduce the youngsters and give them an opportunity to play.

“If they decide to continue with Baxter next season maybe he should try to change his tactics a bit because so far it’s been an ongoing crisis,” he added.

“According to the supporters, he’s more defensive-minded so he should maybe change the tactics to suit the players that he has.”

SMALL LEAGUE TITLE CHANCE

The former winger, who was known as ‘Dukuduku,” added to say that Kaizer Chiefs’ ongoing court case could still allow a late title charge.

“This is the right time to start practising such things because the Nedbank Cup is gone, and the league title appears to be gone already.

“So the only thing they can play for at this stage is the second position, remember there’ still a case pending against them so we don’t know if they are going to forfeit the points or they will be given another chance to play for those points,” Makhanya concluded.
