A former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs star has been found death after missing for days around his neighbourhood in Orlando.

Jerry Sadike was reported missing last week Monday, and this was after the family realised that he was nowhere to be found.
According to Daily Sun, Sadike was found dead at the Edenvale Hospital on Thursday, with the health officials confirming he passed on four days earlier.

His sudden disappearance on that Monday took his family by surprise as Sadike used to spend most of his time inside his own yard.
And that’s because the former Bucs and Amakhosi man was on chronic medication from the stroke he had suffered earlier this year.

WHO IS ORLANDO PIRATES AND KAIZER CHIEFS LEGEND JERRY SADIKE?
Sadike was born in Soweto, and he had the privilege to play for three of the most famous clubs in the township, Pimville United Brothers, Chiefs and Pirates.

He joined Amakhosi in 1973, and this was three years after it was formed by Kaizer Motaung among other individuals who were involved at the time.
Sadike later joined Pirates in what was a controversial move given the fierce rivalry between them and Chiefs at the time.

He became a Soweto Derby legend with his goals for both Pirates and Chiefs. Sadike is among the ONLY six players to have scored for both teams in the Soweto Derby.
Chiefs have published their tribute to Sadike on their official website as Motaung remembered the late former striker.
