Royal AM: Three head coaches in the final shortlisted candidates

As reported, coach John Maduka has left Royal AM. The Malawian is reportedly on his way across town to join Maritzburg United.

ROYAL AM TO APPOINT A NEW COACH

Following Maduka’s shock resignation from the glamorous KwaZulu Natal club, all eyes are on the MamKhize to appoint his successor as soon as possible ahead of pre-season.

According to reports, the upcoming new coach will be one of these three candidates: Gavin Hunt, Cavin Johnson, or Owen Da Gama.

“Royal are believed to have made great strides in an attempt to secure a head coach before the club convenes for pre-season,” Soccer Laduma reported.

“The KZN-based side will participate in the CAF Confederation Cup in the new campaign, and club management have earmarked three experienced mentors, in an ambitious bid to compete on the continent.

“Siya sources have revealed that Gavin Hunt, Cavin Johnson, and Owen Da Gama are the names believed to be a top priority for the Royal AM hierarchy,” the report added.

Meanwhile, Royal AM are expected to make the announcement before the weekend.
