We have come up with three top reasons why Amakhosi fans will fall in love with Solomons.

Four-year deal

Of the seven new signings, Solomons is the only player that has been handed a four-year deal. The contract length says a lot about the player’s quality.

Versatile footballer

While Solomons is a right-wing back, the former Milano, Royal Eagles, Stellenbosch FC, and Cape Town All Stars footballer is quite versatile.

Solomons had played as a right-winger and left-winger until Swallows FC coach Dylan Kerr’s masterstroke decision to try him at right-back last season.  The result was arguably the best right-back in Mzansi alongside Khuliso Mudua at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Solomons is also a reliable set-piece executor in penalties, free-kicks, and corners.

Speedy full-back

The former 100 meters runner was Swallows’ most consistent and dangerous attacker from the number two position.

His standout qualities are dribbling and speed to eliminate defenders when he gets on his scooter.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi’s first competitive game for next season will be an exciting trip to Stellenbosch FC in the MTN8 quarter-final in August.
