Kaizer Chiefs’ Director of Football Kaizer Motaung Junior could not make it any clearer when he said Amakhosi will reduce the average age in the squad.

SENIOR PLAYERS FACE UNCERTAIN FUTURES

As The South African reported in the past week or so, Kaizer Chiefs have no less than eight senior players with expiring contracts.

KAIZER CHIEFS TO RE-BUILD AROUND THESE PLAYERS

While the club is expected to bring new faces into the club in the upcoming transfer window in July, Amakhosi recently offered new deals to their younger talent.

“We have to ensure that our future is secured, and these are the players that will form an integral part in building a formidable team in years to come,” Kaizer Junior was quoted as saying.

“This is in line with our strategy and primary focus of reducing the average age of the squad and building a young dynamic team for the future.”
