Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau returned from injury this past week and made some impact in Al Ahly’s attack against Pharco.
Tau played for the first time under new coach Ricardo Soares who replaced Pitso Mosimane after he left the Egyptian giants in June.
Al Ahly dropped points for the second time in a row after playing out to a goalless draw with Pharco.
Tau though had found the back of the net mid-way through the second half, but his goal was denied by VAR.

TAU LINKED WITH EXIT FROM AL AHLY
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star has constantly been linked with an exit from the club following Mosimane’s departure.
This past week, reports from Egypt suggested that Tau might be sold to his former club Anderlecht.
According to Egyptian website Sada El-Balad, the Belgian club has tabled $2 million (R33 million) offer.
However, Al Ahly want double that amount.
“The Belgian club Anderlecht offered Al-Ahly management $2 million to buy Percy Tau once and for all in the upcoming summer window,” Sada El-Balad reported.
“Al Ahly officials reserved the value of Anderlecht’s offer to include Percy Tau and requested $4 million (R66 million) to agree to complete the deal at a minimum in the next summer transfer window in the new season,”
Since joining Ahly, Tau has made 29 appearances, scored on eight occasions and provided six assists.
